# claude.ai & Claude Desktop

> One-click connector, no API key.

Works on claude.ai (web) and the Claude desktop app. Requires a Claude plan with custom connectors (Pro or above) and a **paid SearchTheTrend plan**.

  <Step title="Open connector settings">
    In Claude: **Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Paste the SearchTheTrend URL">

  <Step title="Connect and sign in">
    Click **Connect**. A SearchTheTrend login opens: sign in with your account and approve. You'll see the permissions screen once, and access is remembered afterwards.

  <Step title="Try it">
    Start a new chat and ask:

    > *"Reconstruct the selling strategy of \[any store domain you're curious about]."*

<Tip>
  Claude loads the SearchTheTrend tools it needs per question. If a brand question doesn't pick up the connector, mention it explicitly: *"using SearchTheTrend, analyze…"*

## Scheduled tasks

Claude's scheduled tasks turn any prompt into a recurring brief. Try scheduling:

> *"Every morning, check the trending products in my niche targeting Germany and summarize the top 3 with who advertises them and the angle they use."*
